2. Virtual Presentations

  • Platform: Zoom. The link will be provided no later than one day before the event.
  • Video Recording Guideline: RECORDING A PRESENTATION WITH ZOOM
  • Virtual Background: DOWNLOAD VIRTUAL BACKGROUND. Online presenters and participants are encouraged to use this virtual background.
  • Video Duration: The video recording should be no longer than 10 minutes.
  • Video Format: .mp4
  • The recording will be streamed during the online presentation to avoid connection/technical problems. However, the Q&A session will be conducted via live questions, so the presenter must still be present online.
  • Online presenters must submit a video recording of the presentation along with the PPT/PDF file (by November 3rd, 2024).

3. Presentation Duration and Timing

  • Allocated Time: 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
  • Timekeeping: A warning will be given when 2 minutes remain.

4. Technical Requirements and Support

  • Equipment Provided: Projector/Monitor/Videotron and laptop.
  • Software Compatibility: Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader.

5. Session Logistics

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive at the parallel session room at least 15 minutes before the parallel session starts.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor.
  • Adhere to the assigned time limit.
  • Audience members are not permitted to take photos or record presentations without consent.
  • Presenters should remain in the session room for the entire duration of the session.
